Legal, privacy and responsible use
Legal, privacy and responsible use.
Website terms and privacy information for public content and institutional enquiries. Last updated 27 August 2026.
Website operator and current status
STARKIT is the public commercial name used for this project. The company is being incorporated in Greece. The full legal entity name, legal form, registered office, business telephone, commercial-register and VAT details, and verified contact addresses will be published here before public enquiry channels are activated.
Registration and control of the starkit.gr domain does not by itself identify a legal entity or replace mandatory business and controller disclosures.
Website terms and precedence
This website provides general institutional information for professional audiences. It is not a binding offer, technical specification, warranty, certification, authorisation, export determination or commitment to supply. Current project-specific technical, legal and contractual documents prevail.
Availability, configuration, performance, integration, delivery and support depend on formal assessment, applicable law, approvals and contract. Website content may be corrected, restricted, suspended or withdrawn without creating an obligation to supply.
Intellectual property and permitted use
Unless otherwise stated, website text, layout, original graphics and STARKIT branding are protected by applicable intellectual-property law. Viewing and sharing an unmodified public page for legitimate institutional evaluation is permitted. Reproduction, scraping, alteration, republication or use that implies endorsement requires prior written permission.
Third-party technology remains the property of its respective rights holders. Nothing on this website transfers ownership, patent, software, design, trademark or manufacturing rights to STARKIT or to a website visitor.
Formal disclosure and regulated use
Manufacturer, origin, authorisation, certification, warranty, export-control and supply-chain information is disclosed through the required formal process.
Regulated electronic or RF capabilities may be supplied and operated only by authorised users under applicable law, spectrum rules and competent-authority approvals. Nothing here authorises interference or operation of regulated equipment.
Controller and data collected
Public enquiry forms, file uploads, analytics and marketing tools are currently disabled. The hosting provider nevertheless processes limited technical request and security data required to deliver and protect this public website. The verified identity and contact details of the person or entity responsible for that processing are pending completion by STARKIT's legal team and will be published in the operator section. This is an interim notice, not the final controller disclosure.
When enabled, the forms collect the information entered by the user: name, professional contact details, organisation, role, country, enquiry category and message or requirement. The service also processes limited request and security data, including timestamps, technical headers, an irreversibly keyed rate-limit identifier and anti-bot verification results. File uploads are not accepted.
Purposes and legal bases
When forms are enabled, enquiry data will be used to authenticate and secure the submission, qualify the organisation and requirement, respond, arrange a briefing, keep an accountable record of the exchange and establish or take steps toward a professional relationship. Processing will be based, as applicable, on steps requested before entering a contract under Article 6(1)(b) GDPR, legitimate interests in secure institutional communications and business administration under Article 6(1)(f), and compliance with legal obligations under Article 6(1)(c).
The planned required checkbox will record that the Privacy Notice has been read; it will not be used as consent for marketing. STARKIT will not use enquiry data for newsletters or unrelated direct marketing unless a separate, optional and specific choice is introduced later.
Retention, recipients and transfers
When forms are enabled, ordinary enquiries will be retained for up to 24 months after the last meaningful interaction, unless a shorter period is appropriate or the record becomes part of a contractual, procurement, compliance, dispute or legal file with a different required retention period. Planned application rate-limit keys will expire within 24 hours and the shortest limit will expire within 10 minutes. These future form periods do not describe the hosting provider's current delivery and security logs; their categories and retention will be confirmed in the final notice.
Access is limited to authorised personnel of the controller and processors supporting hosting, security, abuse prevention and message delivery, plus professional advisers or authorities where legally required. Enquiry details are not automatically disclosed to a technology manufacturer or project partner. If such disclosure becomes necessary to assess a qualified requirement, the contact will be informed and only the minimum necessary information will be shared under the applicable confidentiality, data-protection and transfer arrangements.
Form infrastructure and international transfers
The current public website is hosted by Vercel, which processes limited network, request and security data needed to deliver and protect the pages. Cloudflare Turnstile, Upstash and Resend are planned only for future enquiry forms and remain inactive for public submissions until the legal controller, contracts, regions, retention settings and production configuration have been verified.
Hosting-provider processing or support access may take place outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States. STARKIT's legal team will confirm the relevant roles, locations, transfer basis and available safeguards in the final notice before public enquiry forms are activated.
Your data-protection rights
Subject to the GDPR conditions, individuals may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability where applicable, and may object to processing based on legitimate interests. There is no solely automated decision-making or profiling producing legal or similarly significant effects.
Requests are subject to the GDPR response rules. The verified privacy contact is pending completion by STARKIT's legal team and will be published here; this interim omission does not limit applicable data-protection rights. Individuals may also lodge a complaint with the Hellenic Data Protection Authority, 1–3 Kifisias Avenue, 115 23 Athens, Greece, at www.dpa.gr.
Cookies and essential security technologies
The current website does not use advertising or non-essential analytics cookies. Essential technologies may be used for secure delivery, language routing, deployment protection and form abuse prevention. When enquiry forms are enabled, the anti-bot service may process limited browser and network signals to issue and validate a short-lived security token.
The application stores language in the page URL and does not set its own language-preference cookie. Rate limiting is server-side and stores only keyed, pseudonymous counters for up to 10 minutes or 24 hours. When forms are active, the Cloudflare Turnstile script and frame are third-party security resources. The final production storage and network inventory—including any cookie or local-storage name, provider, purpose and duration—will be verified on the deployed domain and reflected here before public submissions are enabled.
Any future analytics, embedded media or other non-essential storage will remain disabled until a separate notice and an appropriate consent mechanism are implemented. Browser controls can remove locally stored data, but disabling essential security functions may prevent form submission.
Applicable law and updates
These website terms are governed by Greek law, subject to mandatory rights and jurisdiction rules that cannot lawfully be excluded. Any limitation of responsibility applies only to the extent permitted by law and does not exclude liability that cannot legally be limited.
This notice will be updated when the legal entity, processors, contact channels or processing practices change. Material changes will be identified by a new last-updated date.
